The company Rees Software & Systems Ltd was established in 1983 as an accounting/business software provider. The first programs were designed to meet specific customer requirements and were for their sole use. But as the demand for computer-based accounting packages grew, Rees developed a range of Easy programs to meet the needs of most small to medium-sized businesses. Deciding on the name for these programs was simple -- the programs are just so easy to use and understand. As the computer market developed and the demand for more comprehensive and integrated accounting software grew, a new software package called ReesEasy was introduced. This package follows the same basic principles of the Easy range -- flexibility and user-friendliness -- but with much more sophistication in the number of features offered. More recently, in line with computer developments, ReesEasy was superseded by our Rees2000 windows software. This new generation software is a true 32bit Microsoft Windows application which interfaces directly with your windows operating system. Location Rees Software runs a virtual office, with personnel currently located in Nelson and Auckland, New Zealand. This ideally allows us to support, with ease, all of New Zealand. We can quickly reach anywhere in the country if required. Environment New Zealand is very sensitive to the needs of the environment. Rees Software is equally committed to the New Zealand software environment and has developed a non-paper manual for the Rees2000 software package. This manual is Microsoft Windows-based; it is fully featured and emphasis has been placed on ease of use. The helpfile is text sensitive ensuring the help opens in the page matching your current Rees2000 menu. Search facilities, table of contents and index allow you to easily access your required pages.
